If you purchase this eBike, it cannot be used on public roads in off-road mode. For the avoidance of doubt, you will be responsible for when you operate the offroad mode or obtaining such type approval, insurance, tax, registration and MOT in order to use offroad mode whilst on public roads

MerkyBikes - E Tough Power X9

We pride ourselves on being at the cutting edge of e-bike technology and so we present to you the X9 - an every day bike with off road capacity. In simple terms, the bikes default setting is 250 watts and maxes out at 15.5mph, however, this gem is fitted with a button for off roading (with land owners permission) which converts it to 1000w capacity. This makes steep inclines and tricky trails, lightwork. The X9 is basically the sibling of the M9 with a supercharge feature and brushless Bafang rear hub motor with an 85nM torque sensor.

The X9 uses all top of the range components from the 9 speed Shimano Altus gear set to the 48v/17.5AH Samsung Lithium fast charge battery (45 mile range*), the X9 has it all.  The hydraulic disc brakes come with an electric brake lever and a safety "power cut" function. Riding comfort is a priority so with the combination of our front suspension fork, air shock absorbers and padded saddle - you are guaranteed the ultimate riding experience.

The technology side of the bike is maintenance free and very reliable, which means you can take your electric bike in for routine servicing at any good quality bicycle shop throughout the UK or better yet use the Bike Shed Online Mobile Mechanic Service.

Warranty

MerkyBikes electric bikes comes with a two year warranty covering the frame, motor and battery. Electronic components such as electronic cabling, LCD display, throttle and electronic brake cut off's also have a 2 year warranty. There is a 1 year warranty on the charger, lights and all non-wearing mechanical parts,

WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS

Contractual warranty excludes damage or defects caused by: abnormal use, lack of maintenance, accidental damage, prolonged exposure to moisture or liquid.

- Damage caused by incorrect maintenance
- External factors such as shocks, lightning storms, current surges, short circuit, etc
- Damage caused by excess exposure to the elements (e.g. rust caused by not storing bike indoors)
- Modification of electrical components or any modifications (e.g. additions not included when bought)
- Paint, varnish and bike graphics
- Wearing parts such as tyres, brake pads, brake cables, handle bar grips, freewheels etc.
- Spokes

If the end consumer's electric bike is intended for commercial use ( e.g. rental company, messenger service), the warranty period lasts 12 months. Certain warranty exclusions may occur, but please discuss with the manufacturer.

WARRANTIES ARE NON TRANSFERABLE.  WARRANTY COULD BE VOID IF GUIDELINES ARE NOT FOLLOWED.
